The mill liner is installed inside the ball mill barrel to protect the inner wall of the barrel from the impact of materials and grinding media (steel balls, steel sylpebs, steel rods, etc.) to avoid premature damage to the barrel. As an important part of the ball mill, the mill lining needs to be designed according to the materials to be processed and different grinding types.

Depending on the type of ball mill, the shape of the ball mill liner is also different. By changing the shape of the mill lining, the movement state of the grinding medium in the cylinder can be effectively adjusted, so as to achieve different grinding purposes.

There are many kinds of ball mill liner materials, the common ones are high manganese steel linings, alloy steel linings, and rubber linings.

Ball Mill Rubber Liner

The rubber linings produced by AGICO CEMENT can generally be divided into ball mill rubber linings, rod mill rubber linings, tube mill rubber linings, AG mill rubber linings, and ceramic mill rubber linings. The rubber lining can meet the technological requirements of one-stage rough grinding and two-stage fine grinding. Ball mill rubber lining is usually suitable for wet grinding, and the temperature is not higher than 80 ℃.

Types of ball mill liner

The lining plate of the ball mill is divided into two parts: the ball mill barrel and the end cover.  The ball mill barrel part comprises the sealing strip liner, ball mill barrel liner, and the T-bolt.  The end cover part comprises the end lining plate, the lattice plate, the end strip, and the T bolt.

Outstanding advantages

The ball mill liner has the advantages of low energy consumption, high wear resistance, low noise, and easy installation. Through the actual test, compared with manganese steel lining, the ball mill with rubber lining installed in a mine with an annual output of 100000 tons can save 150000 tons of steel balls every year.

Types of damp mill liner

The types of mill liners in the damp mill include end mill liner, end lifting strip, center ring, filler strip, barrel rubber lining plate, barrel rubber lifting strip, mill liner between grate plates, inlet door chopping plate, and supporting fasteners.

Outstanding advantages

The damp mill liner has good sealing properties and no pulp leakage. The damp mill liner is developed by special process formula, which has corrosion resistance and can effectively reduce the damage of metal, acid, alkali, salt, and other corrosive materials to the liner.

The grinding medium loaded in the rod mill is grinding rods, and both ends of the grinding rods will be extremely sharp after grinding. Therefore, the types of liner required in the rod mill include barrel liner, barrel lifting strip, inlet door liner, feed end, discharge end liners, feed end and discharge end lifting strip, packing, supporting sealing fasteners, etc.
